Ahead Of Delta 2023: Okowa’s Aide, Olorogun Gordons Resigns





As the 2023 general elections campaign is getting closer, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Peace and Conflict Resolution, Olorogun Samson Gordons, has tendered his resignation to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

According to Olorogun Samson Gordons, this is to enable him to pursue his political ambition into the Delta State House of Assembly in Ughelli South Constituency.

Olorogun Samson Gordons submitted his resignation through the Secretary to the State Government, Patrick Ukah.

Olorogun Samson Gordons, however, appreciated Governor Okowa for the opportunity given to him to serve, Olorogun Samson Gordons, noted that the reason for his resignation was to allow him to pursue and achieve his political intentions.

The Senator representing Osun East and Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Customs and Excise, Francis Fadahunsi, has said that opposition parties in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, have made up their minds to sack the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, if he made any attempt to frustrate the sacking process against the President, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), next month. Renowned flutist and former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli, has warned Nigerians against voting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Bola Tinubu, saying he was older than he claimed and therefore unfit to run the country. Tee Mac, who disclosed that he was an in-law to Tinubu, noted that the former Lagos governor’s total existence was too shrouded in secrecy to be given the job of leading Nigeria.
