REV. LUCKY OMASA OF THE DOMINION ASSEMBLY INTERNATIONAL CHURCH HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY DEFRAUDING MISS OJO ONOME ENDURANCE OF THE SUM OF 3,800,000.00





The act was allegedly said to have taken place on the 28th day of September 2021, when the victim, who was reported to have swollen legs as a result of leg poisoning went to meet him for deliverance.

According to the victim, she had sought help from her friend who referred her to the man of God, when she noticed that the leg was getting bigger by the day. On meeting with the pastor, he interviewed her, got to know her and began recommending lotions which he allegedly gave her, to apply on the swollen leg. 

The pastor was said to have told Miss Ojo Onome that the swollen leg was inflicted on her by the mermaid kingdom and partially from her father's house too and would have to do some spiritual cleansing to eradicate the problem completely.

The victim provided him with the sum of two hundred thousand naira (200,000) to purchase a ram and some other things he said he was going to need for the night work (spiritual cleansing) and sacrifice also an additional one hundred and fifty thousand naira (150,000) when he said he was going to visit her father's house so he could destroy the problem completely from the root.

On the 27th day of December,2021, the victim had received a call from the pastor who told her that her prayers had been answered and that she should come for the final deliverance. 

However, On arriving at the location, (a hotel which miss Ojo Onome had paid for), she was told that they would need to visit the river to see the mermaid and get some items which she obliques happily. On getting to the river, the pastor was said to have picked up some items which he told Miss Ojo Onome, meant that, the mermaid needed her to share half of her wealth with him.

On this pronouncement, Miss Ojo Onome had blatantly told him NO,that it was not going to be possible and that she was not going to do it. After a while, the man of God offered her something to drink which she took as a normal drink and downed the content. 

The aftermath of what she drank resulted in her driving off to the bank (UBA), with the pastor, withdrawing the sum of one million naira and handing it to the man of God who continued to threaten her with death talks.

In a recording given by the victim, the pastor reportedly brought out a mirror from his bag, invoked her dead dad, and told her that was the way he would invoke her spirit when he wants to take her life. 

The pastor had also threatened to invoke the spirit of her siblings and stab them to death. In her words, " he said I can kill you and waste your life and nobody would know about it. I would dispose your body where no one would ever find it." She also said that, "he threatened to make me run mad if I ever told anyone about what happened." 

After that threat was made on her life and that of her siblings,  she (the victim) had to make a transfer of an additional one million, six hundred and seventy thousand naira (1,670,000) as payment to the man of God who then drove off.

With a threat on her life, if she dared spoke to anyone about everything that had transpired, the victim grew depressed and suicidal. She had lost everything and there was nothing worth living for. It was at this juncture, the victim was rescued by a member of the Justice For All Citizens Human Rights Foundation, who interviewed and got her to open up.

In an official statement given by the Director General of the organization, Marvin Mordi, the man of God has been apprehended  and is currently in the Police Station awaiting court arraignment this week. On arresting the same acclaim man of God in Yenagoa Bayelsa police discovered some diabolic/fetish items was found in the Pastor’s bag 

The Justice For All Citizens Foundation (JFA), a non - Governmental Organization (NGO), saddled with the responsibility of promoting human right and dignity of persons in Africa, is therefore, calling on the general public to help in soliciting justice for Miss Ojo Onome Endurance.
