2023: Peter Obi, Soludo Meet Behind Closed Doors In Government Lodge



The Chief Press Secretary to Soludo, Mr. Christian Aburime in a terse press statement on the visit failed to state their discussions.

Aburime said: “Both leaders had a mutual discussion behind closed doors. Afterward, Mr. Peter Obi commended Governor Soludo highly for the great job he is doing in Anambra State.

“Governor Soludo on the other hand welcomed Mr. Peter Obi to Anambra as a prominent son of the State and wished him well on his Presidential bid as the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party.”

Senators Move To Impeach Ahmed Lawan As Senate President

The Senator representing Osun East and Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Customs and Excise, Francis Fadahunsi, has said that opposition parties in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, have made up their minds to sack the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, if he made any attempt to frustrate the sacking process against the President, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), next month. Fadahunsi, in an interview with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, said majority of the senators across political party lines had already passed a vote of no confidence on Buhari because of his administration’s inability to address the worsening security situation in the country. Renowned flutist and former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli, has warned Nigerians against voting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Bola Tinubu, saying he was older than he claimed and therefore unfit to run the country. Tee Mac, who disclosed that he was an in-law to Tinubu, noted that the former Lagos governor’s total existence was too shrouded in secrecy to be given the job of leading Nigeria. The musician, who responded to a Facebook post by one Yemi Olakitan, who was declaring his support for the politician, alleged that Tinubu was 86 years and not 70.
