Doyin Okupe's 7-Year-Old Great-niece Speaks For The First Time


This is Ojuoluwa Okupe. 7 yrs old daughter of my nephew who has never spoken a word since birth. On Sunday the 31st of April, a miracle actually happened. She arrived at my house with her Dad.

They both came in when the session was drawing towards a close. 
However Ojuoluwa started playing with other kids around, and to everyone's surprise she simply started having conversations with other kids and expressing he, self clearly and distinctly in English language!!

Our God is still in the business of performing miracles S!!!!

Employers Risk One-month Imprisonment For Late Payment Of Salaries

House of Representatives has passed for second reading a bill to prohibit late payment of salaries, underpayment of wages, pension, and other emoluments in Nigeria. The bill sponsored by the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila has passed for second reading following the debate on the general principle of the bill. The bill seeks to prohibit employees from owing salaries and other emoluments. The bill is prescribing punishment for such employers. For instance, owing salaries above 60days, such an employer risks 30 days imprisonment. Section 2 of the bill provides that “Every employer of labor in Nigeria, whether private or public, and whether it is employing any worker on permanent or contract basis must ensure that all payment of wages, salaries, pension and all benefits to workers are paid promptly without delay weekly, fortnightly monthly, quarterly or yearly as may be agreed by parties in the contract of employment of the additional individuals” In addition, the bill prohibits ar...

The Edo State Governor,Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, has addressed the rising issues of young boys engaging in internet fraud, popularly known as yahoo yahoo in Nigeria. The governor opined that these young people who are engaging in all sorts of illegitimate means to make money must be brilliant, he also urged that efforts must be made to redirect their thinking for positive and legitimate use.  Speaking at an education town hall meeting in the state on Friday, February 19, Governor Obaseki said “I am concerned. Cyber fraud and Yahoo culture are big issues. I am calling on everyone to please send as much information as you can to my office. On Monday, I am going to see the chairman of EFCC. I am not condemning those involved. There must be a reason why that culture has become so prolific in Edo state. We must find the root cause and address them as we did in the days of trafficking.
